Magnetic Resonance Angiography Versus Colour Guided Duplex Ultrasound in the Evaluation of Proximal Lower limb Arterial Diseases
Osama Lamey Nakhla;
Abstract
Atherosclerosis is a major problem in the aged population, with a prevalence of 3% in individuals younger than 60 years and of 20% in those aged 75 years or older. Decision making before surgical or radiologic intervention in patients with arteria-occlusive disease of the lower extremities depends on accurate delineation of the level, multiplicity, and severity of stenoses.
