Urinary TNF-Like Weak Inducer of Apoptosis (uTWEAK) as a Novel Biomarker in Lupus Nephritis

Abstract

This is a case – control study, conducted in Ain Shams Univeristy Hospitals. Sixty SLE patients were reccuted from out patient clinic and inpatient. Twenty, healthy subjects were included as a control group. Our study included 60 patients with SLE. All fulfilled the ACR 1997 revised criteria for the classification of SLE attended the outpatient clinic or were admitted in the inpatient department of internal medicine rheumatology division and 20 age/ sex- matched healthy control subjects.
