Petroleum Systems of the Mesozoic Sequences in the South and West Nile Delta Sedimentary Basins
Sabry Fahmy Barsoum Hanna;

Egypt's position along the proto-Mediterranean Tethyan margin during the Mesozoic created abundant source rocks in rift grabens across the Western Desert, Nile Delta and North Sinai regions. The Mesozoic basins of the West and East Nile Delta basins provide rewarding but difficult exploration opportunities
