COMPARATIVE STUDY ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF Fl AND F2 OF ASPARAGUS VARIETY UC 157

Abstract

This study was carried out during the tow successive seasons of 1992 and 1993 at the experiment station of the Strawberry and Non Traditional Crops center at South Tahreer Behera Governorate and Fac. of Agriculture Ain Shams University The investigation was aimed to study the different between UC157 F1 asparagus plants and UC157 F2 with respect to vegetative growth , some chemical component , sex ratio and early and total yield . A complete randomized block design was with ten replicates was adopted .
