Abstract


The present study aimed at identification and differentiation of the two species of Fasciola (gigantica and hepatica), for epidemiological applications in regions where the two species overlap as in Egypt. . The conventional morphometric, the protein pattern and the molecular approaches were tested and their relative correlations were assessed.
