A STUDY ON THE COMPARATIVE ANATOMY OF THE CEREBELLUM IN SOME BIRDS AND MAMALS

Abstract
In this work a total number of 32 animals and 8 human specimens were used. All animals and human were adult. The animals were divided into four groups which belong to rat, rabbit, bird and cat.
The animals were anaesthetised by ether inhalation and decapitated. The skull were opened and the brain were extracted. For each group, four specimens were fixed in Bouin's fluid for 24 hours and after routine histological processing they were embedded in paraffin Sagittal sections, ten urn thickness were cut serially and emmereson's gallocyanin stain is used for staining.
