Abstract
The essay discussed the var·ious types of intraocular lenses used for cor-rection of error·s of r·efraction ( Myopia, Hypermetr·opia, Astigmatism and Presbyopia. These included Phakic IOLs, Toric IOLs. Multifocal IOLs and lntraeorneal Lenses. It included the evolution, types, surgical techniques, results and complications of these IOLs.
