Abstract

ead Injury is a prionty health problem allover the world as well as in our community. More than 4 million episodes of traumatic brain injury (TBI) are estimated to occur annually in the United States, resulting in approximately 50,000 to 75,000 deaths annually. At Suez Canal University hospital, Head trauma accounts for approximately 30°;!1 of deaths occun•ing in the intensive care unit every year.
