GENE THERAPY IN DERMATOLOGY

Ahmad Mohammed El Saad El Refaie;

Abstract

Gene therapy in dermatology describes a range of technologies that have in common treatment of diseose by delivery of nucleic acid (including Oligonuleotides) .the vectors used deliver genes to the body include viral vectors , non -viral vectors and phisicol methods
The gene therapy can be effective in treatment of genodermatoses
cutaneous malignancies, infections and in gene pharmacology future prospects include, RNA- based technologies and stem cell research
