Evaluation of The Prognostic value of Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and Platelet to Lymphocyte ratio after Locoregional Therapy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Egyptian Patients
Mohammad Saeed Ibraheem Toaima;
Abstract
Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) has established its prognostic value within cardiovascular disorders, infections, inflammatory conditions and in multiple types of cancers. However, no cut-off has been advised on the basis of reference values coming from healthy population. Increased Platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) was recognized as an unfavourable prognostic factor in several cancers such as colorectal cancer, breast cancer and gastric cancer.
This study aims to evaluate Neutrophil / lymphocyte ratio and Platelet / Lymphocyte ratio as predictors of recurrence after Locoregional therapy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma in Egyptian Patients.
The study was conducted on 62 patients admitted
