Abstract


Otitis media with effusion is a world wide child health problem, particularly among infants and young children (Geibink, 1983). It's characterized by collection of non purulent fluid in the middle ear space with absence of significant pain (Bluestone, 1980). Conductive hearing Joss is an important audiologic complication, also SNHL has been reported (Harada et al., 1992).
