Abstract
The present study aimed to determine the teratogenic effects of prenatal v lproate treatment administered in the organoge ic and postorganogenic periods in different doses on 20 day fetuses albino rats.
Forty-eight virgin female albino rats were used. Once pregnancy is confirmed, the animals were randomly assigned to two classes A: was treated in the period from day
6 through day 9 of gestation. Class B: from day 15 through day 19. Each class formed of
24 dames which divided into 4 groups.
