Abstract
Two field experiments were carried out at each of
1999 and 2000 seasons at Sakha Research Station, Kafr El
Shiekh governorate, Egypt, to study the effect of soil injection with anhydrous ammonia at two levels of soil moisture contents (11% and 26% by weight) and two soil depths (10 em and 20 em) on growth, productivity, lint quality, nitrogen uptake and seed oil percentage of the Egyptian cotton cultivar Giza 89.
