Abstract


Due to the importance of the urban spaces design as being one of the main components of the urban fabric, this paper focuses on the impact of climate change on some kinds of designs in order to determine the most suitable environmental comfort design at the local and urban levels. The environmental conditions is considered at the environmental design, regardless European theories which not almost suitable with the Egyptian environment especially, in Siwa oasis. Moreover, an empirical study has been applied on Siwa oasis, which is known by its distinctive characteristics, considering the previous and current situation in Siwa oasis. And trying to find environmental solutions to satisfy the environmental needs of humanity, through a comparison between Siwa traditional and concrete housing which is currently utilized. The analytical study has been conducted trying to find appropriate solutions to bring convenience to humans through a proposed model to meet the distinctive identity of the Siwa Oasis.
