Abstract
Famotidine IS the drug of choice as H2 receptor antagonist that is widely used in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer. It suffers from low aqueous solubility that might lead to bioavailability problems. Besides, it is affected by light and its capsule dosage form is lacking in the Egyptian market.
