Abstract
I
n this study, 97 Egyptian and 100 German women with endometrial cancer were studied. HER-2 was positive in 3% of the German patients whereas negative in all Egyptian patients which was a non-significant statistical difference between both groups. Of the three German patients with positive HER-2, two of the patients had grade 3 endometrial cancer and only one patient had grade 2 endometrial cancer and this also showed a non-significant statistical difference when comparing all grades of endometrial cancer as regards HER-2 positivity.
Among the German patients, 82% had no metastasis while 18% had metastasis. The three German patients who were HER-2 positive were all suffering metastasis and they constituted 16.7% of the German patients with metastasis. All the patients who had no metastasis were HER-2 negative. Comparing the German patients with and without metastasis regarding HER-2 positivity showed a highly significant
