CONDUCT DISORDER I • CLINICAL AND PSYCHOMETRIC STUDY

Abstract
The aim:
The aim was to study:
1) The epidemiology of conduct disorder (CD) in Tanta and
Shebeen El-Kom children.
2) The family problems associated with conduct disorder.
3) The signs of nutritional deficiency in these children.
Subjects:-
A. Subjects group :
A representative sample of the school students in Tanta and Shebeen El-Kom was chosen using the Multistage Stratified Random Sampling Technique. The 4th and 5th grades primary school students (1993- 1994) were 6214, a sample was chosen for the research and rated by their class teachers according to the Arabic Version of Conners Teacher Rating Scale. Children whose subscale of aggression scored above 29 were chosen, they were 248 student.
B. Control group :-
Twenty normal well behaved students were chosen from the same schools and were matched for age, sex and socioeconomic status.
