Retrospective study of Endoscopic sinus Surgery Complications

Abstract
This study was conducted between Februray 2013 and November 2013 at Al–azhar University Hospital , Assuit on 40 patients underwent endoscopic sinus surgery and presented to ENT department with complications .
They were 25 males and 15 females.
Their age ranged from 17 years to 55 years with the mean age 33.5 of Years
All patients were submitted to the following:
1-History taking including (personal history- complaint and its duration – history of present illness – past history – family hisrory)
2- Examination including (general examination- nasal examination by rigid endoscope)
3- C T scanning was done for all cases
The main presentation of patients in this study was nasal discharge (13 cases 32.5%) followed by recurrence of sinonasal polypi (12 cases 30%) and then intranasal adhesions (8 cases 20%)
