Abstract

This thesis studied 36 cases, 18 with HCC and 18 with NHL, 20 control. HCV antibodies, HbsAg are tested using Elisa technique. HCV appears to be a definite and important etiological factor in the development of HCC, and also, HBV is an important etiological factor but with lesser extent. HVB and HBV were not proved to have direct
correlation with NHL.
