Identification of Certain Pharmaceutical Compounds Using Different Spectroscopic and Chromatographic Techniques
Ehab Hassan Ali Emam;
Abstract
This thesis deals with the identification and determination of some APis, their degradation products preservatives and sweetening agents using spectrophotometry and hyphenated high performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detectors
The thesis comprises three sections
Section 1: General introduction
This section contains an introduction about the chemical names, structures and physical properties of the studied drugs, preservatives and sweetening agents; it contains an introduction about the chemical names and structures of the main degradation products of the investigated drugs. It also contains literature reviews for the reported methods of analysis for the selected drugs in their pharmaceutical dosage forms as well as biological fluids.
This section also describes the analytical methods used in this thesis including
spectrophotometry and high performance liquid chromatography.
