Abstract
The thesis consists of five chapters, chapter 1: general introduction. Chapter 2: di v ided into 3 parts, A- gi ves general introduction a bout the use of chemomet ri c-assisted spectrophotometric methods, 8- represents the ana l ysis of t wo multicomponent mixtures contammg dextromethorph ane hydrobromide, C- represents the analysis of two multicomponent mixtures contain ing gu iafenesin. Chapte r 3: seve ra l spectrophotometric a nd HPLC methods are represented for the determination of fenofibrate, vinpocetine and their hydrolysi s products. Chapter 4 divided into 2 parts, A- gives small i ntroduction about different meth ods used in chira l separation, B- HPLC determination of citalopn m enantiomers usmg - cyclodextrin as chiral mobile phase additive. Chapter 5 di v ided into 2 parts: A- gi ves introdu ction about direct in ject ion technique, and t he methods used to do this technique, B Development of an on line pl asm a cl ean-up system for the simultaneous determinati on of loratadine and its mam metabolite desloratadine, terfenadine and its main meta bolite fexofenadi ne, vinpocetine and its main metabolite apovincamin i c acid or the main active metabolite of fenofibrate (fenofibri c acid) m serum usmg direct injection chromatographic technique.
