Abstract


Environmental issues have gained the public’s attention significantly over the last several years; and organizations all around the world have increased awareness of green concepts and attempted to be environmentally friendly. In order to produce this objective, organizations should have a management philosophy that serves as the foundation to ensure this result. An increasing number of organizations are going green not only because it is turning out to be a more cost-effective measure but also to fulfill their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and enhance their business reputation. Companies and manufacturers in supply chain networks have been pressured by a growing concern for CSR from governments, organizations, and consumer, and have to bear at least some CSR under policies and regulations.
The study aims to examine the impact of applying GSCM practices on CSR dimensions, compares the results of the public business sector and the multinational pharmaceutical companies in Egypt.
