NON-INVASIVE IMAGING OF HEPATIC VEINS DISEASES
Viola Galal Saleh;
Abstract
Hepatic vem occlusive disease is a rare disorder of clinical significance. Its diagnosis may be confused with congestive hepatomegaly (Philips and Bernardino, 1986).
Doppler sonography enables an economical non-invasive diagnosis of hepatic vein occlusive diseases with minimal technical difficulty (Sonneveld eta/., 1998).
MR. angiography affords good d agnostic information and may be of value when the diagnosis is not clear after sonographic examination (Kane and Eustace, 1995).
