Abstract

The use of aesthetic material is becoming more popular due to increased interest in tooth appearance. Composite resin can provide aesthetic pleasing restorations currently available in posterior teeth. This in vitro study aimed to evaluate the shear bond strength of composite resin restorative material to Co2 lazed enamel and dentin surfaces using different pulse, duration and intensities versus conventional acid etching method by using Scotch bond Multipm-pose
Plus and one step bonding system, also study the surface morphology and topography of lazed enamel and dentin surfaces at different pulse, duration and intensities using S.E.M. A total of220 freshly extracted human sound molars were stored in normal saline at 37°C until the working procedures. The teeth were divided randomly into two main groups of 110 teeth each.
