Abstract


The influence of the hormone prolactin alone and in combination with thyroxine, on limb regeneration after amputation of the hind limb was carried out at the thigh level in the larval stage 55 and premetamorphic stage 57, was studied morphologically, histologically and quantitatively (by the determination of the changes in mitotic activity of blastema cells), in addition to electron microscopy of the changes in the fine structure of blastema cells.
