Abstract
In this work, 40 cases ofsymptoniatic non-united fractures of the carpal scaphoid bone constituted the material of this study.
The anatomy of the scaphoid bone and related structures was discussed as well as the biomechanics of the scaphoid and wrist. Also the anatomy of the pronator quadratus muscle was demonstrated.
