Abstract


This study discusses three of Albee's major works of art in the light of semiotics. The analysis is confined to the stage directions as a non-verbal text. It is also related to both characters and themes. The characters a1-e mostly affected by the main themes in the plays. And this is retlected through the minor props such as the characters' movements, gestures, sound ...etc.
