Abstract
Bladder cancer is a major problem in Egypt. It is a common neoplasm which account for 20.6-30% of all malignant tumors encountered. The high frequency of cancer bladder among Egyptian patients is related to bilharzia! infestation. Bilharzia! associated bladder cancer has characteristic histopathology, developed in younger age group and has different special presentation.
Organ confined muscte invasive, bladder cancer should be theoretically cured by cystectomy but unfortunately many patients have progressive disease even after apparent radical ablation. These patients would benefit from adjuvant or nco-adjuvant radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy
