Abstract


This study is a retrospective amly as of 220 cases of cancer prostate which presented to NCI in the period from January 1990 to December 1999. In this study, the age of the patients ranged from 45 to 85 years and the mean age was 66 years The bones were the main site of metastases (97%). Bony pains were the main presenting symptom. Transrectal U/S biopsy and bilateral orchiedectomy were the main surgical procedures. The adenocarcinoma pathological type constituted 89.5% cases. Stage IV was the most common.
