IMPACT OF HEPATIC RESECTION UPON HEPATOCYTE FUNCTIONS AND ITS POWER OF - REGENERATION.

Abstract
In this study 30 patients underwent surgical resection. There were 24 males (80%) and 6 females (20%). The mean age was 46 ± 12 years.
The patients came to our department by the following presentations;
right hypochondria! pain was the main presenting symptoms in 25 patients
(85%),abdominal mass was presented in 8 patients (24%), jaundice in 2 •
patients (6.7%), loss of weight in 1 patient (3.3%), anorexia in 3 patients
(10%) and vomiting in 2 patients 3.5%.
