Migration und Integration von Muslimen in deutscher interkultureller problemorientierter Kinderliteratur
Radwa Imam;
Abstract
Problem-oriented children’s literature comprises literary works on the subject of conflict situations in
which children find themselves. For some years, the integration of Muslim children in Germany has been
an established part of this literature. Five works are used to investigate how the problems of such children
are treated in literature and how the cultural differences between Muslim and non-Muslim children in
Germany are presented. Using intercultural imagology, the article explores how the image of the
other / stranger is depicted and what possibilities exist for intercultural understanding between children.
