Abstract
In work place, decision-making autonomy is considered as an important element for nursing that increases job satisfaction and nurses' motivation. Decision-making autonomy is the ability of the nurse to carryout his or her professionai duties in self-determined manner while adhering to the legal, ethical, and practices standards of the profession. As nurses practice with more autonomy, they will experience more professional pride and will become the most effective recruiters for nursing.
The purpose of this study is to determine the degree of decision-making autonomy among baccalaureate and diploma head nurses through:
1- Assessing the perception of decision-making autonomy among baccalaureate and diplom head nurses.
2- Assessing the preference of decision-making autonomy among baccalaureate and diploma head nurses.
3- Comparing between baccalaureate and diploma head nurses' perception and preference of decision-making autonomy.
The purpose of this study is to determine the degree of decision-making autonomy among baccalaureate and diploma head nurses through:
