Abstract


Tuberculosis is one of the important public health problems across the world especially in developing countries. The gold standard in diagnosis of tuberculosis is sputum culture which take a lot of time and delay the diagnosis. So, there has been a great demand for finding new methods to diagnose TB quickly and accurately.
Recent studies reported that measuring of serum adenosine deaminase (ADA) level and serum cancer antigen 125 (CA125) is a biomedical method help in diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis.
The aim of this study is correlate between serum ADA and serum CA125 in assessment of severity in pulmonary tuberculosis.
