Abstract


he present study was conducted to investigate the changes imposed by the diabetic state on uterine contractile activity in pregnant female rats and the effect of treatment with insulin and /or vitamin E in the modulation of the assumed diabetic induced alterations.This work was performed on 80 female albino rats weighted ~ 200 gms, animals were randomly divided from day 5 of gestation (GD5) into the following 5groups:
