Abstract


Chronic inflammation is a common feature of CKD
and ESRD patients on maintenance HD. It is considered
one of the most important factors for endothelial injury and
vascular calcification and plays an important part in
atherosclerosis. It is associated with major causes of
morbidity and mortality; mostly cardiovascular diseases
that is considered the most common cause of mortality
among HD patients.
