Abstract
Complete history taking and clinical examination, spirometry was done to
categorize the participants as COPD or control (post-bronchodilator spirometry in
COPD group was done), using spirometry results, history and clinical data COPD
patients were classified according to Gold staging and NYHA classification.
Oxygen saturation assessment was done by portable pulse oximtery. Lastly
Trans-thoracic ultrasound assessing pleural line, A lines and diaphragmatic
excursion.
