Abstract


Among the tumour markers based on monoclonal alllibodies, Carbohydrated An ligen I 25 (CA I 25) proved to be a valuable tumour marker in several tumour systems. The preselll study was designed to study its role in conjwzction with an enzyme marker of cell proliferation, Thymidine kinase (TK) and the acute phase reactant Haptoglobin in malignalll lymphoma. Hodgkin's lymphoma and I 8 with Hodgkin's lymphoma} as well as 9 patients with benign lymphadenopathy {4 with T.B lymphadenitis, 3 with reactive follicular hyperplasia, and 2 with chronic non specific lymphadenitis/, Together with 10 completely healthy subjects who were chosen to match the patiems in age and sex.
