Abstract
Autoimmune disorders are considered one of the most important clinical manifestations in patients with SIgAD. The prevalence of autoimmunity in SIgAD individuals has been shown to be highly variable, ranging from 7%to 36% in symptomatic SIgAD individuals.
Some autoimmune diseases including idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, T1DM, rheumatoid arthritis, thyroiditis, systemic lupus erythematosus and CD are more common in SIgAD patients.
