Abstract

The accuracy of maxillary and mandibular mucosa-supported stereolithographic surgical guide in implant supported overdenture was evaluated in this study. Completely edentulous patients were selected free from any systemic or local diseases that may affect the results of this study.
Complete denture was first constructed for each patient, then each patient was radiographed using CBCT machine following double scan protocol for planning the future implants sites and constructing the stereolithographic guides.
The implants were equally divided into two groups, Group A, patients received 8 implants in the mandible using completely limiting mucosa-supported stereolithographic surgical guide during implant insertion. Group B, patients received 8 implants in the Maxilla using completely limiting mucosa-supported stereolithographic surgical guide during implant insertion.
