Abstract

The handwriting is professional as a practiced scribe. The text is written in small-sized cursive hand with slopes and tendency to ligature. Sometimes the scribe prolongs the final stroke of some letters: alfa, kabba, and ksi. The initial alfa in Αὐρηλίου (l. 18) is totally different than the mid one in the conjunction καὶ (l. 10), besides the cramped alpha in πάντα (l. 19) and the scribe has two types of initial beta as well in βορρᾶ (l. 16) and βεβαιώσει (l. 10), both of them are big and well-separated letter. The rho is a very remarkable letter in the text it is written sometimes without even a loop head in περί (l. 21). Moreover, the rho has a long vertical stroke descending to a line below in χέρσος (l. 4), and προκτητικῶν (l. 4). In which, the scribe apprentice practices to obtain fluency and accuracy in reading and writing the symbols.
