Our results revealed that:

1- Aflatoxin Bb B2, Ph Gb G2 , Q1 streigmatocystin and citmin were detected in the serum samples of the patients and the controls.

2- By qua1I.tatJ.ve esti.mati.On of

aflatoxm• s there was no st•gm•fticant

difference between tJe patients and controls (T-test, P= 0.656) but by quantitative estimatidn there was a significant difference between the mean level in patienJs with HCC (J 1.43 ng/5 ml), patients with CLD
(8.76 ng/5 ml) and cohtrols (3.11 ng/5 ml).

3- There was no statistical difference between the mean level of
• aflatoxins in patients lith CLD and those with HCC (p= 0.235).
4- The mean level of aflatoxin B 1 was significantly higher in patients with HCC (J 1.38 nJ/5 ml) than those with CLD (5.3 ng/5 ml) versus

the control group (3.42 ng/5 ml).

5- Other types of

mycotoxm.

s as sten.gmatocystm.
