Abstract

s breast cancer is the most common cancer worldwide, early detection by screening of high risk population is mandatory for decreasing morbidity and mortality rates. However mammography is the corner stone screening modality, CEDM is a relatively new tool in breast imaging that has been in clinical use since 2012. It combines the benefits of digital mammography with an intravenous, low-osmolar, iodinated contrast medium utilization. Focal asymmetry is a mammographic asymmetric density seen on two projections and must be differentiated from mass. It represents super imposed normal tissue, benign or malignant findings.
