GOMAA ALI ABD EL AZIZ MABROUK;
Abstract
Investment is one of the main tools of economic and social development plans in order to achieve its objectives. The success of development policies depends on several factors, including the size of investments and the efficiency of their distribution in various fields. A major determinant of the development process, its effects on the national income, output, employment and the entire economic structure. This led to the imbalance in the distribution of investments between the main sectors, the study aims to try to identify the impact of agricultural investment on the rates of agricultural development in Egypt during the period (2000 - 2018), as shown by Agricultural investment is increasing by 0.21%, 0.54%, and 0.52% for each increase of 1% in both agricultural exports, agricultural GDP in the previous year and agricultural income in the previous year, respectively, while total agricultural investment is decreasing by About 0.91% and 0.23% for each increase in Shear agricultural balance and the exchange rate by 1%. This means that the most influential variables in total agricultural investment in a given year were agricultural GDP in the previous year, then the value of agricultural income, then agricultural exports. The statistical significance of this relationship was established at the level of 0.05, and the significance of the model as a whole was found to be about 79% of the changes in total agricultural investment due to the change in the independent variables under study.
