Abstract


AIM OF THE STUDY

To explore the effect of hormonal contraceptives on the oral health by comparing two groups of adult female, using hormonal contraceptives and not using hormonal contraceptives, in terms of:
▪ DMFT Index.
▪ Plaque Index.
▪ Gingival Index.
▪ Stimulated salivary flow rate.
▪ Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacilli culture count.
