Factors Affecting Learning Atmosphere Among Pediatric Nursing Students at Technical Institutes of Nursing

Abstract
Training is a basic human activity essential to survival; it may be conscious or unconscious easy or difficult. It is defined as a change in human disposition or capabilities which can be retained and not ascribable to the process of growth (Williams, 2012). It is both an emotional and an intellectual process resulting in some modification relative permanent change of the way thinking, feeling, and doing of learner that also gradual adaptable and selective. It is resulting from practice, repetitions and experiences (Asikhia, 2012).
Nursing training focuses on the development of student nurses independence and self-directedness because these qualities are important in the rapidly changing health care environment. Clinical training is one way to increase nurse students’ professional competence, growth and independence (Wayne, 2013).
Environment is effective on the learning process of nursing students in the clinical area. However, learning in clinical environment has several benefits, but it can be challenging, unpredictable, stressful, and constantly chancontributing to the learning of these experiences can waste a great deal of time and energy, impose heavy financial burden on educational systems, cause mental, familial and educational problems for students, and compromise the quality of patient care (Veerapen et al. 2010).
