A STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF INTRODUCING UTILITY SCALE PV POWER PLANTS TO THE EGYPTIAN GRID IN BENBAN, ASWAN
Ehab Adel Mikhael Guirguis;
Abstract
Summary:
This thesis studies the design of a 20 MWac power plant to be implemented and connected to the Benban station, which is connected to the current 220 kV power transmission line as part of the Feed-In-Tariff Program, which aims to build photovoltaic power plants having a total capacity of 1450 MWac. It consists of 32 discrete power plants with capacities ranging from 20 MWac to 50 MWac near the city of Benban, Aswan Governorate in southern Egypt.
