Abstract


Testicular biopsy and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (TESEIICSI) became standard treatment for patients with non­ obstructive azoospermia. However, TESE may not always be successful, furthermore, it may have significant complications. The
aim of this study is to find the value of various clinical and laboratory

parameters in predicting TESE result, One hundred and one patients

with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) underwent diagnostic TESE through multiple testicular sampling after clinical evaluation, serum FSH measurement and identification of seminal spermatids and spermatocytes using MGG stain and phase-contrast optics.
