Ola Seleem Mohamed;
Abstract
Neonatal sepsis remams a maJor cause of morbidity and mortality in neonatal period, with high incidence in developing countries 5.6 per 1000 live births.
Clinical diagnosis of sepsis is not easy because symptoms and signs are not specific and dramatic deterioration of the clinical condition may occur vf ry rapidly before blood culture results are available.
