. Computer Implementation In some Electronic Devices

Abstract

The aim of this work is to design a general multipurpose computer Interface named MCI that can completely simulate the functions of some electronic devices. We mean by completely simulate that the hardware design and• associated software are designed and implemented. This MCI interface develops and make use of the computer capabilities to operate as the following electronic devices and applications.

- Function generator

- Storage oscilloscope

- Logic Analyzer

- Controller of many outside instruments

- Tester for some electronic components

- Other user applications

The thesis is divided into four chapters covering the analog an digital interfacing devices in addition to MCI hardware and software design and its modes of operations.
