Abstract
The thesis revolves around three main points; urbanization, cultural heritage and risk management. Those three points are focusing on a case study which is the Giza Pyramids plateau; this site was chosen in particular based on its cultural, historical and architectural significance. There are many important aspects and perspectives discussed regarding the heritage site along with its surroundings. One of the main key points of the thesis is how the site is affected and is affecting the inhabitants around it, while examining the effects of each stakeholder on the others.
